The practice
What this shop’s tradition does with an object like this. It is how it is used, not a promise about what follows.
How it is used
- 1Wiped, sprinkled or sprayed — hands, doorways, the back of the neck, a room before company.
- 2A capful in a bath, or on a cloth to wipe a threshold down.
What people get wrong
- Treating it as perfume. Florida water and colognes here are cleansing waters that happen to smell good.

What completes it
